LeBron James house hunting in Highland Park?

The rumors of LeBron James with Michael Jordan and a real estate agent in Highland Park makes sense. Every report mentions that there is no proof to it with comments followed by readers asking, “Why would MJ be house shopping when he lives in Charlotte?”.

Michael Jordan still owns a house in Highland Park, IL and the north suburbs of Chicago is known to be where Bulls players live because Berto Center is located in Deerfield (where the Bulls practice).

I know of few current Bulls players living in Northbrook. In the past, Dennis Rodman used to live a few streets down from my house in a small ranch styled home.

I believe this story is true.

According to Chicago Tribune,

Matt Silver, an Evanston real estate agent, said he does not believe it. He has handled deals with sports celebrities in Highland Park, including the sale of B.J. Armstrong’s home to Julius Peppers.

“I got about 20 text messages today from about six or eight agents, who were like, ‘Are you working with (James)?’ I said: ‘What are you talking about?’ ” Silver said. “I am pretty quiet about stuff (involving celebs). But there are lots of people in my profession who can’t keep their mouth shut.”

Matt Silver could be brilliant if he was in fact the real estate agent showing LeBron homes in Highland Park. If he’s worked with high profile athletes, perhaps he’s learned to keep his mouth shut since he knows this is too big to become public.

Another scenario could be that a real estate agent close to Michael Jordan who can keep his mouth shut has LeBron as a client. Regardless, I believe LeBron James will be in a Bulls uniform next season.
