It was my second time at Stone Lotus and the staff was incredibly rude. In fact, the first time I have been to Stone Lotus was when I helped promote an event over there two years ago! That was a fun night!
So what made this night extremely, special? Well, I’ve seen them harass and make fun of their customers. I’ve even witnessed a man getting kicked out for wanting to get back into the basement bar. He didn’t do anything and the security just rushed towards him and dragged him out!
When we first got there, we were asked to pay a $10 cover, half off from the full cover price (that’s $20 if you can’t do the math). The thing that got to me was that we were supposed to be comped in for free. Whatever, so we paid, no need to make a scene. The place was over packed making it uncomfortable to walk around in, and most importantly impossible to get to the bar. The staff was so rude that they started dragging random people out of there and after only being there for only ten minutes, we asked for a refund at the door.
Most promoters will comply, refund your cover if you’re in their club for less than fifteen minutes, but these douche bags didn’t care. They only cared about money and not service. Since we were there for a friends birthday, we decided to stick around, but this time we couldn’t get back into the party downstairs.
So we paid over $50 to walk in and out with out ordering any drinks. Also the DJ there sucked total donkey balls. I felt like I was listening to the radio. The walls are nice inside, but it’s just for show. One of our previous models did a photo shoot for Jugshots at Stone Lotus because of the nice back drop, but overall there’s nothing special about this place unless you like places that are like a shoebox with rude employees.
I can not forgive this place unless they give me a table with a bottle and THEY MUST REFUND my friends and I for wasting our time there last Thursday night. But that doesn’t mean they will get a good review, they have to earn it! They can start off by firing some of their power tripping security and their greedy promoters. But how could you fire the promoters? They packed the place! Oh how could I forget!? Their employee of the year would shove everyone out of the way and shout, ”Get out of my f*cking way, I work here! Ass h*le coming through!” While doing this, the security guys would be laughing.
